Download this worksheet to help you come to terms with the actions you feel bad about.

When you start thinking I should have done "this" or I shouldn't have done that, start reframing! Create positive and constructive thoughts instead. These new conscious thoughts help you to realize it's never as bad as it looks, or maybe you’re taking on too much of the responsibility.

Here are some examples of reframed thoughts:

  • I'm happy I stepped in to help.

  • Relax, I did my very best.

  • What can I learn from this and put to use?

  • Am I jumping to conclusions?

  • The reaction I got had nothing to do with me?

  • Our relationship is strong enough to get through this and if it isn't then it may not be worth it anyway.

  • At least life's not boring :)

  • I'll discuss what happened and see if we both saw it the same way.
