    Non-Discrimination Policy

    At Triangle Life Coaching Academy:

    • We are committed to a fair and unbiased recruitment and hiring process. No individual will be discriminated against based on race, age, religion, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, or veteran status.

    • Our staff and faculty uphold the principle of non-discrimination for every employee or participant.

    • We welcome participation from all, ensuring an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

    • Discrimination and harassment have no place within our institution. We actively strive to maintain an atmosphere free from prejudice, regardless of race, age, religion, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, or veteran status. Such conduct is intolerable and in direct opposition to our mission and values.

Those wishing to report instances of discrimination are advised to follow our detailed grievance policy (below). Triangle Life Coaching Academy commits to prompt investigation and action on all reported concerns.

  • Triangle Life Coaching Academy's Grievance Policy

Triangle Life Coaching Academy is dedicated to ensuring fair treatment for everyone involved. Our aim is to address grievances promptly and impartially. Participants have the right to raise concerns about content, facility conditions, or the behavior of instructors and faculty. We are committed to addressing these grievances to prevent further issues. Here's our grievance filing process:

Participants should initially attempt to settle any grievance directly with the concerned educator/trainer, staff, or participant. If uncomfortable with this direct approach, participants may skip to the next step.

Should a direct resolution be untenable or if the participant feels uncomfortable approaching the concerned individual, a written grievance should be submitted to the program manager within 7 days. Upon receipt, the program manager will review the grievance and initiate a discussion with the aggrieved participant within 7 days. The program manager will collaborate with all relevant parties to find a solution.

If a participant believes that the matter remains unresolved, they may escalate by sending a written appeal to Laura Reichert at Laura@trianglelifecoaching.com for further review. This appeal should encompass the original complaint and articulate the reasons for dissatisfaction with the prior resolution attempts. All appeals will be diligently reviewed, and a detailed written response will be issued to the participant.

  • Triangle Life Coaching Academy Participation Policy

To achieve success in our program, it's crucial that every participant is fully committed. Upon enrollment at the Triangle Life Coaching Academy, participants must be wholly present for all sessions and give their best effort. This encompasses punctual arrival, our code of conduct adherence, and active involvement in course tasks.

    Attendance

To ensure that you get the required training hours for certification, consistent attendance at every course meeting is a must.

If an emergency or illness prevents your attendance at an instructional or coaching session, promptly inform your instructor and a Triangle Life Coaching Academy representative. Missed sessions will require participants to review session materials, watch session recordings, and engage in a supplementary coaching session outside the scheduled timeframe.

If your absences exceed 8 hours of the course, you can choose to either cover the missed content at your personal expense with the instructor or enroll in a subsequent course. For absences that go beyond 10 hours of mentor coaching, you will be obligated to organize and pay for individual mentor sessions to achieve the necessary 10 hours of mentor coaching, in line with the International Coaching Federation standards.

Any requests for exceptions to this policy must be in writing and will be reviewed on an individual basis by the instructor and Triangle Life Coaching Academy.

    Course Engagement

Triangle Life Coaching Academy courses are curated to be both interactive and captivating. As such, we anticipate full participation in activities, instructor and peer discussions, mock coaching sessions, and hands-on learning tasks. The inability to engage in any task should be communicated to your instructor promptly. For further information, kindly refer to our code of conduct.

    Code of Conduct

Every Triangle Life Coaching Academy participant is held to the highest standards during sessions. This encompasses:

    Being punctual for all sessions.

Ensuring attendance for all live and mentor coaching sessions.

Using your camera during virtual live sessions.

Actively participating in all sessions and mentor coaching. This includes being prepared, actively partaking in discussions, taking charge of your learning, and contributing to the collective learning.

Discussing matters with integrity and honesty.

Demonstrating respect towards fellow attendees and instructors includes muting your cell phone, avoiding texting, and refraining from disruptive behavior.

Upholding the principles of diversity and inclusion and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

    Partial Completion Policy

Triangle Life Coaching Academy offers credit for incomplete courses. The credited hours will be proportionate to the curriculum hours attended. To inquire about partial course credit for a course you're currently or were previously in, reach out to Laura Reichert at Laura@trianglelifecoaching.com within seven days after the course's conclusion, providing course details, desired credit hours, and any other pertinent data. Once approved, you'll receive a certificate of credit from Triangle Life Coaching Academy showing the completed training hours.

Regrettably, at this time, credit isn't available for courses that are only partially completed. To obtain credit, the full course needs to be finished. For any questions concerning this, please contact Laura Reichert at Laura@Trianglelifecoaching.com.

  • Triangle Life Coaching Academy Illness Policy

To ensure that you meet the necessary training hours for certification, you must attend all scheduled course sessions. If unforeseen emergencies or illnesses prevent your attendance, you must notify your instructor and a Triangle Life Coaching Academy representative without delay. In such instances, you'll be required to review the session's materials, view the recorded session, and attend an additional coaching session outside the standard schedule to compensate for the missed class.

Suppose absences exceed 8 hours of the course. Participants can either coordinate with the instructor to cover the missed content at their own expense or enroll in an upcoming class. Should absences surpass 8 hours of mentor coaching, it becomes imperative for participants to schedule and bear the costs of individual mentor sessions to achieve the mandatory 10 hours of mentor coaching, in line with International Coaching Federation standards.

Exceptions or adjustments to this policy will be deliberated upon individually and necessitate a written application to the instructor and Triangle Life Coaching Academy.
